Branding Guide - Internal Branding
Welcome back to our Branding Guide, for those of you that missed our post on Organisational Branding you can find it here - Branding Guide - Organisational Branding.
Today we are going to be talking about Internal Branding
Internal branding looks at branding from the inside out, when an organisation adopts internal branding principles and initiatives employees not only understand and believe in the brand they buy into the brand and become part of the brand they also help to bring the brand to life.
Internal branding ensures that everyone within the organisation has a solid understanding about the brand, what the brand stands for, and what it means: to the organisation; to them as an employee and to the customer. As such internal branding provides employees with the big picture view of the brand, a firm understanding and awareness which conversely enables them to deliver upon the brand promise, in turn every employee within the organisation plays their part to ensure that each and every customer and prospective customer encounters a brand experience that is aligned to the organisations brand promise.
Employees are far more inclined to live the brand when they are informed about and involved in new initiatives and strategies that are taking place in an organisation.
Don’t forget to join us for our next post of the Branding Guide where we will be talking about Employee Branding.
